If God said, we are the children of God, and if God looks like us, is it not fair to say “we are gods”? Lets find out what God said:
- I am created in the Image of God to rule the earth
- So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth (Gen 1:27-28)
- “I said, ‘You are “gods”; you are all sons of the Most High.’ (Ps 82:6)
- I am made of dust and returning to dust if God’s word is not in me
- And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being (Gen 2:7)
- “For dust you are and to dust you shall return” (Gen 3:19)
- I am the Devil’s interest
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10)
- but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. (Gen 3:3-4)
- I am cursed for my heart even from my mothers womb
- Cursed is the man who trusts in man, And makes flesh his strength, Whose heart departs from the Lord.
- “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” (Jer 17:5,9)
- Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. (PS 51:5)
- I am blessed for obeying God’s command
- “Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all nations of the earth. (Deu 28:1-14)
- I am protected and forgiven by Jesus Blood
- “Now the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are. And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt”.(Exo 12:23)
- “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”(Eph 1:7)
- I am visited by God
- For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isa 9:6)
- Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:58)
- Then He said to Thomas, “Reach your finger here, and look at My hands; and reach your hand here, and put it into My side. Do not be unbelieving, but believing.” And Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28)
- Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. (Phil 2:6-8)
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory. (1 Tim 3:16)
- He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him (Col 1:15-16)
- I am saved and justified by Faith, trusting in the work of Jesus, not my work
- For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. (Eph 2:8-9).
- know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have believed in Christ Jesus, that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law (Gal 2:16)
- I am precious, mysterious child and the image of God
- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (John 1:1,14) - “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” (John 1:11-12)
- Don’t you know we will judge angels? And if this is so, we can surely judge everyday matters. (1 Cor 6:3)
- For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in Heaven. (Matt 22:30)

- And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
- I am madly loved by God
- For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
- For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Rom 8:38-39)
- I am protected from the devil unless I believe and follow his lie, steal, kill and destroy by my choice
- The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. (Matt 10:10)When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. (Matt 13:19)When he arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?” (Matt 8:29)
- And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; (Mark 16:17)
- So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7)
- I am saved by trusting on God’s word, His Blood, sealed with His Holy Spirit
- Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.” (Gal 3:11)
- Therefore I make known to you that no one speaking by the Spirit of God calls Jesus accursed, and no one can say that Jesus is Lord except by the Holy Spirit. (1 Cor 12:3)
- I am transformed and become a new creation
- “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Cor 5:17)
- Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Rom 12:2)
- Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh (Gal 5:16)
- I am renewed and my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit
- Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Rom 12:1-2)
- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Rom 8:1)
- and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness (Eph 4:23-29)
- If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left, but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God. (Heb 10:26-27)
- I am given the Power that was lost in the Garden of Eden by the Holy Spirit
- But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
- God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. (1 John 4:16-19)
- I am growing in my Salvation and others
- “Like newborn infants, desire the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow up into your salvation.”(1 Pet 2:2)
- “And let us consider one another in order to provoke love and good works, not neglecting to gather together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day approaching.” (Heb 10:24-25)
- I am preparing for spiritual war
- For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12)
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. (Eph 6:17) - “And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the one who is thirsty I will give water from the spring of the water of life freely. The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son. But as for the cowards and unbelievers and detestable persons and murderers and sexually immoral people and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their share is in the lake that burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.” (Rev 21:6-8)
- For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Eph 6:12)
- I am only given things I can handle and overcome
- No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. (1 Cor 10:13)
- I am watched over
- Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will.
- Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. (Matt 10:29-31)
- I am recharging my Battery by the Word, singing Songs and Thanks giving!
- Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
- Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
- Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Eph 5:16-20)
