The 12 Foundations for Biblical Engineer

Introduction to Biblical Engineer for Christ & Why should we believe in the Bible?
Engineering word came from Latin word “ingenium” meaning ingenuity or cleverness to making things reliable & better.

To install a complex Computer component, you need an instruction to follow from the maker. To install electric wiring in the building you will need to follow the design of Building Architect. If you go to City where you have never been, you follow GPS. If you want to be a Champion, you need lots of information gathering, training with good Coach who will guide us beyond temporary comfort and pleasure to reach our true potential. Likewise, for quality, joyful, peaceful & successful life, the Maker of the Universe has given us Instruction, we called the Bible.

How can we confidently tell if the Bible has the greatest instructions of Engineering life is because it has been proven for having the power to change human life upside down for 1000s of years in the World History, being Inspired by God (2 Tim 3:16) written by 40 different human hands, but same message and Theme from God as the main Author, unlike the “Chinese whisper game” we used to play 😊

Today, the integrity of the Bible is advocated by top scientists like modern Genome scientist & NIH Director Francis Collins, Dr James Tour the only 3 disciplines concurrent professors in NanoTechnology, Computer science, Biologist & Chemistry. Besides, Sir Isaac Newton, spent more time studying Bible than Science and countless other great scientists believe in God the Creator of the Universe, in fact most great University like Harvard, Oxford & Cambridge were all built by the Church but trying to dilute Faith in God is a natural rebellious human heart desire because we were born sinful (Ps 51:5) and the key is that we must be born again in Spirit to see the power of God (John 3:3) by hearing the instructions of God (Rom 10:17) and believing in our heart that God came in Human form and died, rose again to give us Eternal life & restore the super natural power in us because He is God (Rom 10:9).

The scripture tells us there are Two types of Human heart:

1. Who Believe God, obey & thankful for Everything VS
2. Disbelieve God, ungrateful in Everything. Without God there is nothing evil & full of denial. With God’s Spirit, human’s evil heart is obvious. Their god is their stomach says Phil 3:19.

Salvation in Jesus is ridiculous & impossible for them as 1Cor 1:18 says: “For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” Let’s ask ourselves Today, Which side are we on?

We know the LAW is good but not powerful enough to lead human back to God as the Lord Said: “I HAVE COME NOT TO BOLISH THE LAW OR THE PROPHETS, BUT TO FULFILL THEM” (Mat 5:17). Let’s study the 12 Topics below to help us grow to Spiritual maturity to better Engineer our lives as the Lord wanted!

The 10 Commandments

1. You shall have no other gods before me
2. You shall not make yourself an idol in any form
3. You shalt not disrespect the Lord’s name
4. Keep Sabbath day holy
5. Honour your father and your mother
6. You shall not murder
7. You shall not commit adultery
8. You shall not steal
9. You shall not tell lie or be false witness
10. You shall not covet your neighbour

    1. Who are we? Why is God so mindful of human? (Ps 8:4-8)

1. Gen 1:27-28 So God created mankind in his own image…; male and female he created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue…”
2. John 10:34, Ps 82:6 Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your Law, ‘I have said you are “gods” sons of the Most High
3. Ps 139:14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
4. Deu 28:1 If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth
5. John 1:11-12 He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God

2. Enemy’s Plan to revenge God is to destroy His Children:

1. John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life
2. Mat 13:25 but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way
3. John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
4. Gen 6:5-6 The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.
5. 2 Tim 3:1-5 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

3. God become human to save, like dad leaves his fishing gears and go to kid’s school and games to show love.

1. Isa 9:6 Unto us a child is born, to us a son is given… And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
2. John 8:58 (10:30-33) Very truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I AM!
3. Phil 2:6–8 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God…rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
4. John 3:12-13 If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? ¹³ No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven.
5. Rev 21:7 (6-8) He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

4. Salvation is by Grace. Abraham was justified by his faith

1. Rom 1:21 They know God but don’t glorify as God nor give thanks to him but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened
2. Eph 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast
3. Rom 3:10,23-24 There is no one righteous, not even one…For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
4. James 4:10  Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.
5. John 8:11 And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

5. Grow in Salvation or be like the cursed fig tree:

1. Matt 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, “Let no fruit grow on you ever again.” Immediately the fig tree withered away.
2. Matt 12:43-45 The impure spirit… says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ When it arrives, it finds the house unoccupied, swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.”
3. Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children
4. John 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life
5. 1 Pet 2:2 Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation

6. Let the Old life Go and New Life come:

1. 2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2. Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
3. Pro 8:13 To Fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behaviour and perverse speech.
4. Jer 17:5 Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD
5. Phil 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

7. Be confident in God’s love and Not Worry

1. Ps 27:13-14 I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
   Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart…
2. Matt 10:29-31 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows
3. 1 John 4:4 You are from God, little children, and you have conquered them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.
4. Rom 8:28,31,38-39 Everything works for good for those who love God…If God is for us who can be against us…For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
5. Isa 40:30-31 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

8. Be filled with Holy Spirit and not the Worldly things:

1. Mark 7:15 There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man
2. Acts 2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit
3. 1 Cor 12:3 Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit
4. 1 Thes 5:19-22 Do not quench the Spirit,do not utterly reject propheciesbut examine everything; hold firmly to that which is good, abstain from every form of evil
5. Eph 5:18-19 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit. Speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord

9. “Be Holy, for I am Holy” (1 Pet 1:16) for honourable

1. 2 Tim 2:21 Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.
2. Matt 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God
3. 1 Sam 15:22-23,16:7 “Does the Lord delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the Lord? To obey is better than sacrifice, and to heed is better than fat rams. Rebellion is witchcraft, arrogance is idolatry, you have rejected the Lord’s word and he has rejected you from being king.
   16:7 Do not look on his appearance…man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.
4. Heb 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord
5. 1 Cor 6:19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own.

10. Be Mature & stand up for the weak as a living sacrifice that your joy of salvation will be full in God!

1. Rom 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
2. Mat 22:23 Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”
3. Heb 5:14 But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil
4. Jam 1:19 take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry
5. 1 John 4:20 If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen

11. Be Courageous

1. Jos 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
2. Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you
3. 1 Cor 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear and he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
4. 2 Cor 5:1-2 For we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed instead with our heavenly dwelling.
5. 2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

12. Call from Above – One who win soul is wise (Pro 11:30)

1. Matt 9:37 Harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.
2. Mat 6:20-21 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also…
   6:33 Seek first the Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be added to you also…
3. Matt 28:18-20 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
4. Matt 12:30 Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.
5. Isa 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

FINALLY

Be the Blessed one:

“Whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and who meditates on his Law Day and Night” (Ps 1:2)

The Kingdom of God is within you (Luk 17:21)

Trust in the LORD & Not your understanding (Pro 3:5)

Set your mind on things above, not things on earth (Col 3:2)

“Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart” (Ps 37:4)

“For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice” (Jam 3:15-16)

Wait till you are filled with Power of the Holy Spirit:

“I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49, Acts 5:15-16)

 Do not take revenge…for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. (Rom 12:19)

Love your Enemy and Pray for who persecute you (Matt 5:44)

Grow in Love & be Thankful

Faith, Hope & Love remains but the greatest is Love”

(1 Cor 13:1-2,13)

Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. (1 The 5:16-18)
